This school year has FLOWN by... I am not sure why this year seemed faster than the others... maybe it was because it was the first year since Madison has been in school that I haven't been teaching. We celebrated her last day (Monday June 18, 2012) by letting her pick a place for dinner. She chose Outback Steakhouse. Afterwards we went to Target and she chose some new shorts, a few items from the $1 section, and a new book she had been wanting to read.
Here she is --- the first day of 7th grade is on the left and the last day of 7th grade is on the right.

Congrats Maddie! So exciting. How do you feel about a year from now having a HIGH SCHOOLER? Wow!
