Jungle Birth Announcement Printable

I made this print for my friend Valerie's new baby, Joel.  However instead of posting it here with all of his information, I made a "sample" one to share here.  His looks exactly the same, expect it has his personal information on it. It will go perfectly with his jungle themed nursery.

I sent it to Walgreens to be printed and cannot wait to frame it and mail it to her to hang on his wall.  I added it to my Etsy shop, if anyone is interested.  You can find it here.   You can customize it. It comes as a JPG file to be printed as an 8x10.  You can use coupon code APRIL12 to take 30% off anything in my little shop for the entire month of April.

Happy Easter {FREE} Printable 5x7

While decorating for Spring I realized I needed one more piece to finish my fireplace design.  So I created this 5x7 printable, printed it at home, framed it, and it definitely was the last piece I needed to complete my decor.  You can download a copy of it for free below.  You can print it from your home printer or upload it to CVS, Walgreens, or Costco.

Free Fall Printable - Subway Art w/ Graphics

Today I am sharing a fun and free fall subway printable.

{The file you receive will not include this border}

Would you like one? Simply leave a comment.  If your email is hooked up through blogger... I can respond that way and attach your printable... if it isn't, then go ahead and leave your email and I will send you the printable within a day.

Then you simply upload it to your favorite printing service (Shutterfly, CVS, Persnickety Prints, etc...), choose 8x10 (it will print best that way) and make sure they don't auto color correct it.  When it arrives or you pick it up, simply put it in a frame and you have instant fall decor for a bare wall, mantle, or table.

This House is a Good Mess. It's the Proof of Life

The other week my friend from high school, Erin, contacted me.  She reads my blog and had seen some of the printables I have made.  She wanted some "how-to" advice on making a printable.  I  just went ahead and offered to make it for her.  She told me the quote she wanted to use and told me her color scheme.   We had several emails back and forth until I sent several to Erin to choose from.  I was thrilled when I received in email from her the other day (while in the middle of my moving nightmare) which included a photo of the final product hanging on her wall.

I love the frame Erin chose and how fabulous it looks on her wall -

If you would like the file for this printable emailed to you, simply leave a comment below with your email address.

A Simple & Easy Craft - Using a Picture Frame as s Dry Erase Board

This was posted on Thursday...then Blogger went crazy...and now there is a LINKY posted at the bottom...that I didn't add and isn't showing up on my edit page...so who knows??

I got the idea for this Picture Frame as Dry Erase Board from my Real Simple magazine.    I think it is is a fabulous idea and just what we need for our kitchen.

So I rumaged through the garage until I found an old frame.  I spray painted it black

Then I created a TO DO LIST using PowerPoint (I used black and dark red to match my kitchen), printed it out on cardstock, and framed it.

Here we have it -

It was super easy to do.  You probably have the things around the house to make it with.
